On June 9th, 2025, Green Acres Landscape, Inc. had the privilege of attending the Salem Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Recipient Luncheon at the Salem Convention Center. As proud members of the Salem Chamber and last year’s Employer of the Year (2024), we were honored to support and celebrate this year’s winners.
These annual awards highlight the hard work, vision, and dedication of local businesses across the Salem area — and this year’s recipients exemplify those qualities in every way.
2025 Award Recipients

- New Business of the Year – Bison Dump Hauling & Junk Removal
- Non-Profit of the Year – Oregon State Fair & Exposition Center
- Ag Business of the Year – Marion Ag Service, Inc.
- Small Business or Entrepreneur of the Year – Azucena’s Cleaning
Each of these businesses contributes something vital to the Salem economy, from agriculture to advocacy, and everything in between. It was inspiring to see them recognized in front of a room full of peers, community leaders, and local champions.
Celebrating the Mission of the Salem Chamber
The Salem Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role in making our region a place where businesses — and people — can thrive. Their mission says it best:

They bring that mission to life through three powerful pillars:
- Advocacy: The Chamber works hard behind the scenes to ensure that business-friendly policies help local companies succeed — a strong economy starts with a strong voice in government.
- Involvement: From leadership development programs to youth mentorship, they help shape the next generation of Salem’s leaders, strengthening our community from the inside out.
- Visibility: Every business, large or small, relies on customers. By promoting and connecting local businesses, the Chamber helps keep our economy growing and resilient.
At Green Acres, we’ve directly benefited from the Chamber’s work and their commitment to Salem’s business community. We’re grateful for the opportunities they create and the recognition they give to the businesses that make this city vibrant.

Receiving the Employer of the Year award in 2024 was a milestone for us — and a reminder that when you invest in your team, great things happen. Attending this year’s luncheon brought everything full circle: it was a chance to reflect, connect, and cheer on fellow businesses doing incredible work.
