Green Acres Landscape is proud to provide earth-friendly landscaping services to our neighbors in Salem, Oregon and the surrounding communities. Since 1992, we have been striving to help people enjoy spending more time outside by designing, installing, and taking care of outstanding outdoor spaces. Over the last 25 years, a lot has changed, but our original goal of offering affordable, sustainable, quality landscaping service, has not.

A Great Company Starts with a Great Team

In order to accomplish our goal, we depend entirely on our team of passionate professionals. We are lucky to have one of the best groups of employees in the business. Therefore; we are thrilled to introduce a recent addition to the Green Acres Landscape family, Kim, the new office manager, who joined the company in May of this year.

The New Face in the Office

Kim was born in Salem and has deep-seeded roots in the community. After working for years at a vegetation management company, the business was sold to a new owner. She took the opportunity to look for a position with a company she would be proud to work. When she learned that Green Acres Landscape was hiring, she knew it would be a great fit. Although Kim has never worked for a landscaping company before joining Green Acres, she was sure her related work with vegetation, railroads, and pesticides would let her easily transition to the industry.

Kim is a true Jill-of-all trades. As the office manager, she has a very diverse and critical role in the company. Kim’s position puts her is in charge of scheduling work orders for current employees, handling billing affairs, human resources issues, and everything in between. She is also one of the first faces new staff members will see since she is the one guiding them through the on-boarding process. Kim’s kind personality will serve her well when she needs to resolve internal employee matters or customer service issues. Including all the office ordering and accounting responsibilities, and Kim is one busy lady.

When Kim is not at work, you will most likely find her hanging out with her husband and kids. The entire family loves to spend time together watching the kids’ baseball games.

Work Feels Less Like Work

Kim is very excited to join the team at Green Acres Landscape. She is already contributing to the company’s mission to become even more environmentally friendly by ordering green office supplies, and Kim is looking for new ways to reduce the impact of the company on the planet. Kim is settling in well and loves getting to know her new coworkers better. She states, “My favorite thing about working for Green Acres Landscape is the people. Green Acres takes care of its employees and really does make work feel less like work.”
